Obituary of Kathleen M. LaPlace
Piscataway – Kathleen M. LaPlace, 80, died Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in Complete Care at Westfield.
Born in Patterson, Kathleen resided in Jersey City and Plainfield before settling to Piscataway in 1985. A CNA for Ashbrook Nursing Home in Scotch Plains and CareOne Assisted Living in Edison, Kathleen had a passion for helping others.
She also loved animals and enjoyed watching TV Shows like Walker Texas Ranger, Tarzan and StarTrek.
Predeceased by her husband, George LaPlace who passed in May of 2011 and two brothers Vincent Honeychurch and Howard Honeychurch; surviving are her four children, Oswald Welby, Ronald Quetel, Kevin Quetel and Monica Urash; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 10AM in the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854, family and friends may gather at 9:30AM. Burial will follow in Holy Redeemer, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 5-8PM in the funeral home.
