It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William (Bill) H. Brouillard. Bill passed away on March 13, 2024, leaving a legacy of kindness, guidance and friendship. Born in Bound Brook, NJ. Bill was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. Bill married Carol J. Duncan on June 11, 1966. He touched many lives with his sense of humor and ability to help others. Over his career as a master craftsman, he built custom kitchens and cabinetry. His work appeared in publications such as Better Homes and Gardens. His colleagues admired him for his skills, sense of humor and willingness to lend a hand.
After retiring, Bill became an active volunteer for Greyhound Friends of N.J He was very involved in the rescuing and placing retired greyhound in foster homes. Later in life, Bill was very active in Burlington County RC Club, Millstone RC Flyers, and Somerset RC Club. He enjoyed target shooting, as well.
Bill was a devoted family man and friend. His presence will be deeply missed by the lives he touched and friends he made along the way. Bill leaves behind his wife Carol Brouillard, his loving children, Douglas, Bryan and Laura; his cherished grandchildren, Claire, Grace, Mia, and Aven; his siblings, Robert, Anne and John (dec.), many nieces and nephews, and Jerome Johnson, who is another son to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the upcoming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your local animal shelter, in Bill’s memory. Bill will be deeply missed, but not forgotten. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was loved and admired by all that knew him.
