Nenita R. Ramos, 88, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Nenita arrived to the United States in 1972 residing in Chicago. She later relocated to So. Bound Brook prior to settling to Middlesex where she has resided for nearly 45 years.

While growing up in the Philippines, Nenita worked as a school teacher and upon settling to New Jersey she worked as a Nursing Assistant at the NJ Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater for many years retiring 18 years ago.    

She is predeceased by her husband Benedicto who passed away in 2015, a son-in-law Richard Marshall who passed away in 2023 and by all of her siblings, she is survived by her daughters, Jean Maligaya and her husband Jun, Joyce Molina and her husband Ellan all of Las Vegas, NV and SherryAnn Marshall; son, John Ramos and his wife Mardi of Piscataway; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 4-8pm with a funeral service beginning at 6pm in the Middlesex Funeral Home 528 Bound Brook Rd. Middlesex, NJ 08846.

Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9:30am -10:15am in the funeral home.

Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
