Obituary of Susan Watker

Susan Watker died on September 21, 2024 at ExcelCare in Manalapan after a fifty-nine year lifespan of extreme autism and the challenges that came with it.  Born in Somerville to the late Stanley Edward and Veronica (Mislyan) Watker, Susan has been a member of the New Horizons group home for over forty years.

Susan enjoyed socializing and had a fascination with water, where she would constantly play with it.  Nothing relaxed her more than sitting and enjoying smooth jazz music.

She leaves behind her loving sisters; Jeanette Watker and Carole Watker of Piscataway and her aunt Helen Pongracz of Branchburg.

Visitation will take place at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 4pm until 6pm.  On Thursday, September 26, 2024, family and friends may gather directly to St. Francis Cabrini Church in Piscataway for a 9:00am funeral mass.  Susan will then be laid to rest at Resurrection Burial Park also in Piscataway.
