Piscataway, NJ - Edward Peter Galgan, 79, passed away at his home on February 26, 2018. Born and raised in New York City to the late Walter and Wanda (Terlecki) Galgan, Eddie has been a resident of Piscataway since 1954. A retired maintenance worker with the East Brunswick Board of Education, Eddie formerly worked as a printer. He was a former communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Piscataway but recently enjoyed attending at St. Mary of Czestochowa RC Church in Bound Brook. Eddie liked sports, gardening and enjoyed his time traveling. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Eddie was the kind of guy who was liked by everyone. He was the first one to help someone and will be forever remembered as a dedicated son and brother. Predeceased by his parents, Eddie leaves behind his two loving brothers; Thaddeus and Daniel, both of Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 3-6 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854. On Monday, March 5, 2018, relatives and friends are invited to attend the 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, 201 Vosseller Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ 08805. Burial will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
