Victoria "Vicki" Wojcik South Plainfield - Victoria " Vicki" (Serago) Wojcik, 61, died on Monday, February 22, 2010 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Elizabeth Vicki has lived in South Plainfield since 1977. She was loved and respected by many of her friends especially at the Woodrow Wilson School in Elizabeth where she worked as a teacher for many years. Family was her number 1 hobby and she was proud of her children and their accomplishments. Vicki also took great joy in spending time with her children and her 3 grandchildren. The Wojcik family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Haven Hospice and especially the Hartwyck Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their loving care and attentiveness. She was by all means angel on earth who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. To her husband of 39 years, Vicki is still "the prettiest girl at the dance." In addition to her loving husband Michael, surviving are her 2 children; Michele Gonzalez and her husband Raymond of Philadelphia, PA., and Matthew Wojcik and his wife Jennifer of Downingtown, PA., her brother Frank Serago and his wife Carol of South Plainfield and by her 3 grandchildren; Benjamin Michael, Dominic Michael, and Bowen Matthew. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 9:15am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC church, South Plainfield. Cremation and committal services are being held privately. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 4-8 PM in the funeral home.
