Edward Goode Piscataway - Edward Goode, 89, died on Monday, February 28, 2011 at home. Born and raised in Plymouth, PA, Eddie was a 1941 graduate of Plymouth High School and has been a resident of Piscataway for the past 35 years. He served with the U.S. Navy during WWII and was member of the Middlesex American Legion Post# 306. Eddie was a car salesman for his entire career. He worked at various dealerships throughout Central Jersey. His last employer was the former New Norris Chevrolet in Westfield. In addition, he was a member of Scared Heart RC Church in South Plainfield and was active with the South Plainfield Traveling Seniors. He is pre deceased by his 1st wife Nell, his 2nd wife Geraldine, 2 sisters and 8 brothers. Surviving are his wife Anna (nee Bumback), his daughters; Honora Patronick and her husband William of Dunellen, Linda Holaday of Somerville, and Cynthia Goode-Wilson and her husband Gary of NY, his son Edward F. of Colorado and 5 grandchildren; Zachary and KateLynn Patronick, Dustin and Jedd Holaday and Matthew Goode. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org .
