Rose A. Skowronski North Plainfield - Rose A. (DelPapa) Skowronski, 88, died on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at home. Born and raised in Plainfield, Rose has resided in North Plainfield for nearly 59 years. Rose was a longtime member of St. Joseph's RC Church in North Plainfield and during her younger years Mrs. Skowronski worked for Dr. Lumar Dentistry in Plainfield followed by Dr. Miron Luhowy in Warren for several years. Rose also enjoyed to crochet which she was well known for. She is pre-deceased by her husband Victor who died in 2007, 2 sisters Irene DelPapa and Linda McDonough and by her brother Frank DelPapa. Surviving are her daughter Joan Jaghab and her husband George of South Plainfield and her son Michael and his wife Hollie of Edison, 4 sisters; Mary Lind of Whitehouse Station, Viola Doyle of Watchung, Gladys Tombro of Warren and Margaret Cogger of Greenbrook and her grandchildren; Daniel Jaghab, Peter Jaghab and his wife Andrea and Michael and Joey Jaghab and Max Skowronski. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 8:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 9:30 AM funeral mass at St. Joseph's RC Church, North Plainfield. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 4 - 8 PM in the funeral home
