Frank X. Rose Vineland - Frank X. Rose, 95, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2007 at the Baker House in Vineland. Born in Irvington, Frank resided there for most of his life prior to moving to Vineland in 2005. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus member of the Bishop Widger Council formerly of Irvington and he was also a founding member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church in Maplewood where he served as the Bingo Chairperson throughout the life of the Church. As a young man he was an accomplished violinist playing throughout Europe and the United States while maintaining dual citizenship. Mr. Rose is pre-deceased by his wife the late Constance (Romano) Rose who died in 1998, his sister; Mary Tartaglia, and by his brothers; James, Michael, Daniel, and Louis. Surviving are his children; Gloria Guidera and her husband John of Vineland and the Rev. Frank Rose of Plainfield, grandchildren; Maria Guidera of Vineland, Suzanne Guidera of Pittsgrove, and Vincent Guidera Sr. of Pitman, and his great grandson; Vincent Guidera Jr. Also surviving are many nieces, and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be held on Friday evening, January 18, 2008 at 7:30 PM at St. Bernard and St. Stanislaus RC Church, Plainfield, NJ. Entombment services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 7-9 PM in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 South Main Rd., Vineland, NJ and on Friday, January 18, 2008 from 2-7:30 PM at St. Bernard and St. Stanislaus RC Church in Plainfield. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals , 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Donations can be made to St. Bernard and St. Stanislaus RC Church, 368 Sumner Ave., Plainfield, NJ 07062.
