Helen Schneiderwind Glen Gardener - Helen Schneiderwind, 89, died on Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon. Born and raised in Plainfield, Helen resided in South Plainfield for past 61 years. A graduate of Plainfield High School, Mrs. Schneiderwind was a former member of Sacred Heart RC Church as well as the Sacred Heart Rosary Altar Society. Helen was also very active with the South Plainfield Seniors. Her most prize possession was her family. She is pre-deceased by her husband Rache who died in 1975 Surviving are her 2 daughters Jane Klawunn and her husband Thomas of Lebanon and Patricia Gamble and her husband Henry of Yardley, Pa., her 6 grandchildren; Vicki Trainer, Rachel Shufeldt, Keith Trainer, and Kristen, David, and Daniel Klawunn, and her 5 great grandchildren; Michael Shemeley, Talia and Kyle Shufeldt, and Owen and Jay Trainer. Helen was also expecting her first great great granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 6-9 PM in the funeral home. Donations can be made to Sacred Heart RC Church, 149 South Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
