South Plainfield, NJ - Richard R. Goyette, 67, died on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville.
Born in Lewiston, ME, Richard moved to NJ in 1964, settling to South Plainfield thirty-six years ago.
Richard worked in the packaging department for Univar located in Pennsylvania. Avid in Boy Scouts, he was very involved in Troop 309 and touched the lives of all those that knew him.
He leaves behind his wife Venise (Moreau) Goyette, his children Michael A. Goyette (Mindy Gerber), Aimee Goyette (Shamir Khan), and seven grandchildren and three sisters; Pauline, Rose and Mariette.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2009 beginning 11:30 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 2- 4 & 7-9 PM.
Memorial contributions in Richard''s name may be made through The Michael J Fox Foundation.
