Obituary of Regina Costello

Regina M. Costello South Plainfield - Regina M. (Rupp) Costello, 70, died on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Port Chester, NY, Mrs. Costello lived in Stamford, Connecticut for most of her life before recently moving to South Plainfield 8 months ago. For 40 years Regina worked for Pitney Bowes in Stamford and she enjoyed relaxing, playing cards, traveling to Mohegan Sun and spending time with her nieces and their families. She is pre-deceased by her husband Robert who died in 1998, her parents Stephanie and Joseph Rupp, her sister Elizabeth Buyachek and her brother Edward Rupp. Surviving are her brother Theodore Rupp and his wife Patsy of Norwalk, her brother in law Mike Buyacheck of South Plainfield, NJ, her nieces Michele Bataille and Eileen Boettger both of New Jersey, Gail Anderson of Pennsylvania and her nephew Tom Rupp of Stamford. Also surviving are her great nephews and great niece and several special nieces and their families. Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 9:00 AM in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk, CT 06851, followed by a 11:30 AM funeral mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Norwalk, CT. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Darien, CT. Local funeral arrangements are under the direction of McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals.
