Patricia Ann Scrymgeour Pittstown, NJ - Patricia Ann (Gallagher) Scrymgeour, 55, died on Tuesday March 27, 2012 at her home. Born in Plainfield, Patti grew up in Scotch Plains before moving to Hunterdon County with her husband Frank of 32 years. She was a 1974 graduate of Scotch Plains - Fanwood High School and had attended computer programming schools. Patti was employed for a number of years for Conti Construction, working in their South Plainfield offices. Patti was an animal lover and devoted advocate of animal causes. She often supported the ASPCA in its efforts. She was a very giving and caring person who adored and loved her family, especially her numerous nieces and nephews. Patti is predeceased by her husband, Frank who died in October of 2010 and her father, Jack Gallagher who died in March of 2003. Surviving are her mother, Rita Gallagher - Fitzgerald, a brother; John Gallagher, three sisters; Mari Teresa Dougherty, Sharon Gallagher and Maureen Coleman and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. As well as a host of family and friends. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 12:30 - 1:30 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 www.mccriskinfuneralhome.com followed by a prayer service beginning at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in her memory are requested to be made to the ASPCA, 520 8th Ave, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018, www.aspca.org
