South Plainfield - Kathryn C. Hoagland, 50, passed away on Saturday March 22, 2014 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. Kathryn blessed this world on October 1, 1963. She was raised in Brooklyn, NY and settled in South Plainfield, NJ in 1989. Known as "Kathy" to her family and friends, she brought joy to everyone that knew her. While raising her children, Kathy worked majority of her adult life in the payroll department for Connections Personnel in Scotch Plains. She also served as a former Girl Scout Troop Leader in South Plainfield for a myriad of years and was a faithful member of the Faith Fellowship World Outreach Ministries in Sayreville, NJ. Kathy will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends. She is predeceased by her father Joseph Santillo. Surviving are her husband, Christopher "Larry" Hoagland and her two children, Christopher and Amanda Hoagland, all of South Plainfield. As well as her mother Ann Santillo; her brothers, James and Vincent Santillo; her mother-in-law, Ethel Juanita Folkes; her sister-in-law, Lori Santillo; her nieces, Michelle and Jenna Santillo; and her dog, DeeJay. Cremation Services were held privately. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 beginning at 1pm followed by a 3pm Memorial Service in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funeral, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
