Richard Howard Magee 101, of East Norriton, Pa. and formerly of Toms River and Wayne NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Brandywine Senior Suites. Born Feb.5,1912 in Paterson,NJ he was the son of William and Rose Magee. A Veteran of the US Navy, Richard served in the NATS as an Airplane Mechanic, 2nd Class Machinest. He was one of five brothers serving during WWll at the same time and all five returned home safely. Mr. Magee worked as an auto mechanic and as an appliance technician prior to retiring from RCA in 1977. He married Genevieve Krukiel in June 1946 and enjoyed bowling, bocce, pool and traveling with his wife and friends. He was also very proud of his Irish heritage. He is predeceased by his wife, the late Genevieve, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Surviving are his children; Margaret Ottenbacher and her husband Fred, Rich Magee and his wife Eileen and Teresa Sirocka and his five grandchildren; Jennifer and Seth Ottenbacher, Megan Rose, Christine Bachorik and husband Joseph, and Brian Sirocka. Also surviving are his two great grandchildren; Jackson and Caroline and a brother John. Visitation and funeral services for family will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 1pm - 3pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Entombment will be held privately on Monday in the Ocean County Memorial Park Mausoleum, Toms River.
