Eleanor Pracher South Plainfield, NJ - Eleanore (Payer) Pracher, 87, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Born in McAdoo, PA, she lived in Plainfield for a brief time before moving to South Plainfield in the late 1970's. Eleanore spent her time caring for her family as a homemaker. She was active with Our lady of Czestochowa RC Church in South Plainfield. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, especially baking bread. Eleanore loved dancing with her late husband to big band music and could always be found inside painting her home. She is predeceased by her husband August "Gus" Pracher who died February 14, 2009 and by her siblings; Emil, Olga, Steven and Joseph. Eleanor leaves behind her children; Ronald Pracher and his wife Eileen of Hopatcong, Darcie DeVito and her husband Daniel of Northville, MI and Antony Pracher and his wife Pamela of Holliston, MA, her eight grandchildren and her brother Archie Payer. In addition, she will be missed by her dedicated neighbors who were wonderful to Eleanore. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 18, 2011 beginning 10:15am in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by an 11:00am funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will be held at 3:00pm in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Dallas, PA. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 3-6pm.
