Obituary of Anita Patricia Hook

Anita Patricia Hook South Plainfield, NJ - Anita Patricia (Slonaker)Hook, 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at RWJ University Hospital in Rahway. Born and raised in Rahway, she was a 1955 graduate of Rahway High School and has lived in South Plainfield for the past forty-six years. She spent her time as a homemaker cooking and caring for her family. Patricia was a hard working woman and her sarcastic wit will be missed by everyone that knew her. She is predeceased by her parents Jacob and Edna (Mintel) Slonaker and by four siblings. Patricia leaves behind her loving children; Alan Hook and his wife Stella of Lakewood, Christopher Hook with whom she lived, Donna Spector and her husband Peter of Bridgewater, Patricia Hook of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Laura Hogan and her husband Donald of Point Pleasant. She will be missed dearly by five grandchildren; Christopher, Ashley, Grant, Erinn and Cait, six siblings and by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 31, 2011 beginning 9:30 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by burial at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday, December, 30, 2011 from 5-9 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the service time.
