Obituary of Jennie L Stasio

South Plainfield - Jennie L. (Gurnari) Stasio, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at JFK Hartwyck at Cedar Brook in Plainfield. Born and raised in Newark, Jennie graduated from Barringer High School prior to settling to South Plainfield fifty years ago. Jennie worked for IEEE in Piscataway for many years. She was an avid reader and loved to cook Italian meals. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Arthur; son, Marc and his wife, Joan all of South Plainfield; four grandchilden, Joseph and his fiancé Erica, Nora, Anna and Marc and three siblings, Antoniette Policastro and husband, Anthony, Josephine Immerso and Arthur Gurnari and wife Kathy. Funeral services will begin on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. Family and friends may attend visitation on Sunday from 2-6PM.
