South Plainfield - Luis Cardoso, 52, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Portugal, Luis immigrated to the United States in 1977 to Newark where he resided until settling to South Plainfield 18 years ago.
Luis loved watching, playing and taking his sons to soccer games.
Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Maria (Lombardo) and two sons, Anthony and Italo all of South Plainfield.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Sacred Heart RC Church, 140 South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 at 10AM.
Entombment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park Mausoleum, Piscataway.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Sunday in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 from 5-8PM.
