Dexter E. Lopez, 54, passed away January 8, 2013. Born in Newark, he grew up in Morristown, then resided in Long Valley before settling in Piscataway. Mr. Lopez has been employed in finance with Alcatel Lucent in New Providence for the past 30 years. Dexter was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Piscataway. He loved working with his hands; as a young man he worked with cars and now as a family man, he worked on house renovations. Surviving are his loving wife of 15 years, Mrs. Susan Lopez; his children, Matthew Lopez, Zachary Lopez, Anya Lopez and Christopher Lopez; his previous wife Lynn Lopez; his seven siblings and his special aunt Alice McKeon.
