A brightness in my life has gone. John was team member whom I held in high regard for his originality, honesty, humor, conviviality, dependability and, not least, for his brilliance as a computer scientist. I look back fondly upon our near daily conversations during my years working with him. John, "Tapper," was a pleasure to be around. I extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be in my memory forever.

John Tapscott was my co-worker and friend for over 20 years. We worked on many projects together over the years. John was extremely bright and could always find a solution to any complex problem. We have truly missed John since he retired. I would like to send my prayers and condolences to the Tapscott family during this difficult time.
