Obituary of Deborah Lyons

Deborah Lyons, nee Deily, of South Plainfield, passed away on June 19, 2016 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Long Beach, California to Ted and the late Marlene Lenner Deily, she graduated Green Brook High School, and was a former resident of North Plainfield, before moving to South Plainfield 25 years ago. Deborah worked as a bookkeeper at BRAVO! Group Services in Green Brook for many years where she established a close knit relationship with her "work family" and will be missed by all who knew her. Deborah enjoyed shopping and traveling with her late husband George Lyons who passed away just one month ago. She was also preceded in death by her mother Marlene Lenner Deily. Surviving are her loving father, Ted Deily and dear step-mother Peggy, her brothers Mark Deily and wife Anne, and Gene Bodemer and wife Lita, her nieces Angelina and Isabella, her cherished niece Stacey Miller and husband Stu, and their son, Deborah's godson, Jake, her aunt Patty Stepko and husband Wally, and many extended family and dear friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 28th 2016 at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
