Edna S. Abbott, 88, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Spring Oak Assisted Living in Lanoka Harbor.
Born and raised in Camden, Mrs. Abbott resided in South Plainfield for 30 years prior to relocating to Buena in 1986.
While residing in South Plainfield, Edna was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in South Plainfield and worked at the former Dentist office of Dr. Struhl as a receptionist for over 20 years.
In addition, Mrs. Abbott also took pride in providing for her family.
She is predeceased by her husband John who died in 2000 and is survived by her two daughters; Diane Beck of Bayville and Kathleen Colucci and her husband Edward of South Plainfield, and son-in-law James Beck of Newburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Natalie Colucci and Brad and Todd Beck; great grandchildren, Madeline, Zachary and Danika.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 4-7PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Cremation Services will be held privately.
